David Greenwood-PR Executive and Author
My name is David Greenwood. I’m a veteran of the public relations industry. I served in a very high-profile public relations role for many years for one of the most recognized brands in the world. I’ve been in front of more TV cameras than many in my industry, and I’ve helped get attention for my clients from a local newspaper to national television spots. As the public relations industry has changed drastically over the past decade, I now focus my attention on helping clients navigate the digital world of public relations through the powerful platform of podcasting and content creation. I take my national high-profile public relations experience and I use that to navigate the new world of PR.
My philosophy is simple. Share your expertise.
I’m also a published author with books out in stores nationwide, I speak to companies and business groups and I consult with many. My book Overcoming Distractions profiled many successful entrepreneurs around the country who just happened to have ADHD. It has allowed me to grow my audience, make connections around the country and the world, and be known as a thought leader in the world of adult ADHD and entrepreneurs.
I host a popular podcast by the same name, which is ranked in the top five of my category. With close to 300 episodes, I know podcasting!
My second book, Overcoming Burnout, takes a street-smart approach to helping people who have experienced burnout and provides realistic steps to reclaim their lives. And I have many episodes dedicated to the topic of burnout.
I know podcasting, and I know how to build an audience.
My Background?
I had the honor of gaining a vast amount of communications experience from serving as director of communications for Special Olympics Massachusetts. In my first year, I helped the organization gain more television news spots and positive press coverage than they had seen in years. I ultimately grew into the role of vice president of development and worked on projects around the country and around the globe. I have worked on public relations projects from here to China.
I believe in the power of podcasting for you and your brand. Because I have seen the benefits firsthand.
Let’s face it—the world of public relations changes each year. If gaining visibility is important to your organization, you will need to keep up on the latest trends and effective strategies. If you want to be on the Oprah Show or sit on Drew Barrymore’s couch, I’m not sure I can help you. But if you want a realistic approach to building awareness for your brand or organization, I’m ready to help.
Let’s get started!
